The Creation of…
One day, in a not-so-far-off land, there was a group of adventurers who loved to play tabletop roleplaying games…
They spent countless hours crafting their characters, exploring dungeons, and battling mythical creatures.
But something was missing from their gaming experience. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't find the right creative resources to help balance, enhance, and make their games truly epic.
Determined to fill this void, they embarked on their own journey—to ‘forge’ a collection of books and e-books made for fans, by fans. Every page was crafted with heart, soul, and a commitment to creativity, ensuring that each product would inspire unforgettable moments around the gaming table.
Their efforts paid off, and soon their products became a hit among the gaming community. Players and game masters alike praised their work for its refreshing take on TTRPGs, its engaging content, and its ability to spark the imagination.
And so, the Arcane Foundry was born—a hub for passionate creators, crafting tools to enhance your TTRPG experience. Our team of writers, artists, and designers continues to fuel adventures, because we believe that gaming is all about storytelling, connection, and creativity.
So join us on our quest, and together, let's craft unforgettable stories and characters that will stand the test of time.
Kolten Webber - Chief Executive Officer (he/him)
Kolten ‘K-Webb’ Webber is the CEO & Team Lead here at Arcane Foundry Studios. With a foot in almost every aspect of the company, K-Webb creates intriguing TTRPG content; both mechanically and conceptually. He facilitates and reviews every letter and collaborates with every member of the team on a daily basis. In his free time, Kolten beatboxes in an a cappella group and cuddles his two cats, Binx and Eldritch.
Evan Heggen - Lead Writer (he/him)
Evan Heggen is the lead writer at Arcane Foundry Studios. Ever since beginning his journey as a DnD player a decade ago, he has always felt like something has been missing. With the help of Arcane Foundry he feels like they can begin to fill in the gaps of play. From Races, Classes and Subclasses to Monsters, Items and Spells, he helps write it all! When he’s not playing DnD, he either thinks about DnD, writes about DnD or reads comics. He hopes to apply his love for movies and comics to his favorite TTRPG and expand into more games in the future!
Nick Palmer - Social Media Manager (he/him)
Nick is someone who wears many hats within the Arcane Foundry team! He collaborates with the team to ensure that our social media and website content stay fresh and engaging. His title is Social Media Manager, which perfectly blends his two passions: D&D and content creation. He loves connecting with the community in ways that inspire and empower fans to build their own worlds and share their stories! After diving into D&D his freshmen year of college, he quickly realized the impact of having a connected and engaged community both on the game AND on the lives of the people playing. Away from the table, you’ll find Nick walking his puppy, Ace, or finding a new challenge run in Pokemon.
Dakota ‘oopsallbangers’ Harvey - Art Director (they/them)
Dakota is the Art Director at Arcane Foundry Studios! From drawing stick figure comics at their grandparent’s house as a wee child to creating the majestic monstrosities featured in Arcane Foundry products, they create with as much enthusiasm as is readily available! If you hear a soft sob followed by a feeble sip from a tea mug on the wind-you know they are near.
Steven Klabunde - Monster Designer (he/him)
Steven is a part of the design team at Arcane Foundry, specializing in monster creation and game mechanics. His journey with Dungeons & Dragons began at age 10, playing alongside his uncle and little brother, and it’s been a passion ever since. With a deep understanding of the game’s intricacies, Steven works towards enhancing any tabletops experience. At Arcane Foundry, he’s helping to create innovative tools and entirely new mechanics that give DMs a fresh way to spice up their campaigns. Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with friends and gearing up for his next D&D session. Whether behind the screen or at the table, he’s always looking for ways to bring new layers to the game.
Ryan Carlin - Writer/Editor (he/him)
Ryan is a writer at Arcane Foundry Studios, a position which leaves him in quiet shock each day. As a writer that loves both a good story and a good game, he quickly became enamored with D&D’s storytelling potential. Everyday he strives to make an entertaining read alongside the writing team that leaves our readers with hours of cheesy grins and intrigue. Ryan works with our team to make the experiences we give you well-written and, above all else, fun. Away from the writing table, you can find Ryan playing with his cats Tucker and Charlotte, or finding a new cooking recipe to try his hand at.
